Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The Supreme earns high praise for its consistently crispy and fresh fish, particularly the cod and haddock. Customers rave about the generous portion sizes, finding that the value matches the quality. The cheesey chips and pepper chips are standout items, making any meal a satisfying experience. Friendly staff and a community-oriented vibe create a welcoming atmosphere, reassuring newcomers and returning customers alike that they're valued. Many reviewers single out how easy it is to place an order in advance, especially for those who may have mobility challenges.

Most Disliked

While most visits to The Supreme garner positive remarks, a few customers express dissatisfaction with the cash-only policy. Some find it inconvenient, especially in a card-dominated world, and suggest that accepting cards could enhance customer experience. Additionally, during peak hours, wait times can extend a bit longer due to the popularity of this beloved chippy, which could deter those in a rush. It's worth noting that on busy weekends, patrons might encounter a crowded space, which can sometimes lead to a noise level that isn't ideal for everyone.

One of the BEST fish and chips we’ve ever had! The ladies behind the counter were incredibly nice and efficient. We paid cash, no more than £17 for everything!

Fantastic spot for fish and chips! Their Cod and Haddock were crispy and fresh, and the chips had just the right amount of crunch. We also tried the Cheesy Chips, Chip Butty, and Pepper Chips, all of which were delicious. Keep in mind, it's a cash only establishment.

Fantastic chippy. Friendly staff, great tasting food and excellent value. Walked a fair bit to get it, worth every step. Chicken goujons are quality, lovely chips, and if really greedy you can visit truffles bakery for a bap. As good a chippy as you will find anywhere in Northern Ireland.
